Welcome to DownTheHatch Brewing! DTH is a garage/basement home brewery located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With a love for "good" beers, I've been homebrewing since 2009 and have developed a passion to learn everything it takes to make my next batch even better than the last. With the many craft breweries out there, you can always find something that you like, but there is a great satisfaction in enjoying a beer that you crafted yourself.

When drinking a quality brew, it's great to be able to say, "hey that's pretty good, though I think I could make something just a little bit better."

Though I tend to brew darker ales, I do like to learn about and appreciate all different styles of beer. I started brewing to celebrate what I like best about beer and to create some styles that showcase how good types of beers can be made even better.
